The friends

Imagen
Hello everyone, I really didn't know that to write, so I started thinking and the only thing that came to my mind was that this week I went to the beach with my friends, so I would like to talk about friends and how important they are! Personally I am not going through a very good time, the pandemic, the online university and everything that encompasses the current situation has affected me a lot): and I have made the mistake of taking refuge in myself with the typical phrase "I can do it alone", generating a self-demand dressed as self-love, from which it has been hard for me to get out. However, I sought help and I am learning to take refuge more in the people I love and I feel that they also love me. This is because I would like to highlight friends, who are people who without any responsibility are there, sometimes indirectly, even without them knowing it, in these moments of my life the phrase "friends are the family you choose" makes a lot of sense to me....

Do private schools offer higher quality education or are they just prestigious?

Hello everyone, in my opinion private schools do offer a higher quality education, I say this because in my family I feel that it has happened, since my younger cousin, who has better economic situation, went to a school called Andreé English School, where they had a bilingual seal, had many branches in English, also gave an international certification from Cambridge University and within the elective programs had other possibilities of certificates in this area, in turn had many support programs to better render the PSU. While I went to a school located in La Pintana, where the education and the environment was not very good, many of my classmates suffered from bullying, the parents were not present in the education of their children, we did not have English from elementary school and there was no accompaniment to take the P.S.U. It is for all the above mentioned that I feel that private schools do give a better education to their students, they give more opportunities and priori...

3rd post: Religion

Hello, I don't know where to start, I really don't like the topic, I’ve never been a believer in any kind of religion, however, I spend four years in a catholic school, from first to fourth grade, every morning we prayed and read a verse from the bible, I remember that there were monthly masses, the best two things were that we missed some classes that I didn't like, and some songs were nice  because they had a sort of choreography and were sung in the choir together. Where I live the evangelical religion is promulgated a lot, people are always singing or preaching in the street with microphones and speakers, I do not like that at all, I find it very invasive, sometimes I'm studying or watching TV at home and these people come to sing at the street corner out of nowhere! So I have to stop what I'm doing because I can't hear anything but the yellings. There are times when I go to the square and they are always there or when I take the bus home I always find a pe...

What do you think of the health service in our country?

In my opinion the health service in our country is very unequal, people who can pay for the service are well attended and this service is expeditious, however, people who can not pay for this right are forced to be attended in a public health service, which in my opinion is a lousy service.  The times that I or a family member has gone to the public service is not a pleasant experience, it is hours and hours of waiting, most of the time between 4 to 6 hours, with luck, plus it is always a place that is full. sometimes they serve people in the corridors, not even in a box, which I find demeaning, the minimum that should be there is privacy. It should be added that the diagnoses are not always correct, so you have to go back to the health center. Also the waiting times for operations are too long, if you are lucky you can be operated in the same year, but if not you have to wait sometimes up to 3 years or more to be able to be operated. Public health should be a dignified right...

Why do you think voting is important?

First of all I feel that voting is a very important right as citizens, because it allows us to influence public policies, we vote for someone who has similar visions to us, so we vote for someone who we believe can improve our environment and I am not only talking about presidential voting, but also communal, governors, councilors, etc. In addition, it is a possibility that not everyone has, there are still countries where their representatives are descendants of traditional families or simple dictators, so I think it is an important possibility to value, especially for being a country where a dictatorship was lived and being a woman and considering myself as one, I feel even more the responsibility to vote, I feel it is very important not to forget the history of a people or generation. Currently we live under a government that many people and I include myself repudiate, I say this because it has been reflected in the popular demonstrations that have occurred lately in our country and...

POST 7: One expert I admire is Claudio Donoso, Forest Engineer from the University of Chile and Master of Science from the University of California (EE.UU.), he was an expert in Forest Ecology and Forestry, being an inspiration to me and many generations of Forest Engineers. He was director of the Institute of Silvicutura and Prodecano in 1994. In addition, co-editor of the magazine Bosque in the 1980s, where he also published several Scientific articles. In 2000, the Austral University of Chile named him Professor Emeritus, the same date he retired from the University. His contribution in national politics to valuing forests and benefiting society was also important. In this context, he actively participated in the design of policies, laws and regulations for Chile's native forests. An important milestone was the creation of the forest typology for Chile (1981). Of particular significance was his persevering work of technical support and promotion of the adoption of Law No. 2028...
